Helpline.org.pl is a joint project of the Nobody’s Children Foundation and the Orange Foundation launched within the Safer Internet Programme.
Its mission is to help children and youth who face threats when using the Internet and mobile phones, and to introduce system changes to provide more effective protection for the youngest users of new technologies.
Who is encouraged to contact us?
- Children and youth
when bullied, threatened or blackmailed
when they receive crude messages
when someone on a chat or communicator asks them embarrassing questions, demands their photos, or insists on a face-to-face meeting
when they receive or are shown inappropriate content, such as pornography or violence
- Parents
when they don't know how to talk with their children about Internet safety
when they are concerned about their children's online "friends" and activities on the Web
when their children have been exposed to dangerous content]
- Professionals
when children or their parents ask them for help in resolving problems related to Internet safety.
